NAKURU PEACE MATCH

Recently, the Private Safaris supported a football tournament in Nakuru geared towards promoting peace in the region. This was the first peace initiative since the launch of the peace slogan - Amani Milele Kenya (Peace Forever Kenya).

Private Safaris sponsored full sets of branded football uniforms comprising of a Jersey and short set, puma shoes and stockings. The Jerseys and shorts branded Amani Milele Kenya were Green, Red and White in colour. This colours depicts Kenya's National Flag-Green for the land and natural resources; Red for the Price of freedom and white for PEACE.

This first tournament attracted over 1000 spectators from different communities. Each team comprised of 5 tribes and was headed by their area councilor.
The Private Safaris team namely Baharini, was second and has now qualified for quarter finals.
