MOMBASA EXCURSIONS

Bush Tour (Half a day)

Depart in the morning and drive towards Malindi, passing by a sisal plantation at Vipingo. You will stop enroute to see some Mijikenda villages and typical lifestyle, a medicine man in practice and a local school on the way. At the school, the headmaster takes you around the school. Return back to the hotel by lunchtime.

Fishing

Arab dhow sailing into the calm waters of Mtwapa Creek sunset over the African wilderness, baobabs, mangroves, birdlife and hilltop villages. Traditional entertainment on board. Dolphin Dhow Safari

This is your best chance to see and swim with the dolphins naturally in Kenya. 96% of the trips have seen dolphins and over 35% have had encounter with these beautiful and intelligent mammals. Lunch is served aboard to increase flexibility in spending time with them. You will have ample opportunity to view the Kisite Marine Park. Snorkeling is also offered and for non swimmers, a dry boat option in this astounding coral garden is included.

City Tour
Morning pick up from respective hotels and proceed to visit the Akamba wood carving. You will visit the Indian temple and the Mombasa landmark (Elephant tusks) in the city center leading to Mama Ngina Drive on the sea shore enjoying a panoramic view of the seafront. A visit to Fort Jesus is a must. This is a Fort that has undergone historical phases of immense interest from a Portuguese to Arabians and to the Kenya Government as a prison and eventually as a museum. Walk around in the old town and old harbor which was notorious for slave trade. Return to your hotel.
Extension…..there is a possibility for a full day tour extension with lunch at Hunters Steak House or Ngomongo Villages where one can enjoy the different cultures depicted.
