The Ark Forest Lodge, in the heart of the Aberdare National Park, is designed to resemble an ark, with decks, balconies and lounges for viewing the animals. The Yasabara waterhole is floodlit for viewing elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard and other animals.

Accommodation is in 59 cabin-style rooms with bedside lamps and carpeted floors. Meals are served in the main dining room with views of the forest.
