Severin Safari Camp

Tsavo National park with over 21,000 sq kms of vast bush land is by far the largest national park in Kenya. The western part of the park is home of the Severin Safari Camp (40km from Mtito Andei), set amongst the volcanic landscape and with the fresh waters of the Mzima and Kitani springs, the area is rich in wildlife.
The added attractions of the historical Poachers lookout and a stunning view of the Ek Turesh Valley, Roaring Rocks and Tsavo River, make a visiti to this area of the park a must. The Severin Safari Camp and the nearby affiliated Kitani Bandas (built in 1954) are nestled between Acacia trees with a majestic view of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa.
The Severin Safari Camp with Swiss management has twenty, unique octagonal tents (approx. 30 sq m) as well as the Kibo suite equipped with a luxurious bath tub and private viewing terrace. Each tent has hot and cold water shower and separate toilet and bidet facilities. The comfortable beds with duvet and mosquitonet, guarantees a luxurious night's sleep in the bush. Early morning coffee or tea is served to your tent and in the evening a special tent service is available to your private veranda for ice cold drinks.
The main building which overlooks the lit up water hole, consists of Reception with international telephone facility, "Safari Boutique" the "Out of Africa Restaurant" with lounge and "Thorn Tree bar". The evening camp fire creates the Out of Africa touch for that …. away from it all feeling.
